Clippy's Lawn Care ("we," "us," or "our") offers an SMS notification program to keep customers informed about their lawn care services. By opting in to SMS notifications through your account preferences, you consent to receive automated text messages from Clippy's Lawn at the mobile phone number you provide.
You may receive the following types of SMS messages based on the notification preferences you enable:
Crew en route: Notification when our crew is on the way to your property
Job completed: Confirmation when a service has been completed at your property
Contact responses: Notification when we respond to a contact request you submitted
Invoice ready: Alert when a new invoice is available for review
Payment confirmation: Confirmation when a payment is successfully processed
To participate in the Clippy's Lawn SMS program, you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided; and (c) reside in the United States. By opting in, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that you are authorized to incur any mobile message or data charges that may result from using this service.
SMS notifications are entirely opt-in. You must explicitly enable each category of SMS notification in your account preferences. All SMS notification toggles are off by default. By enabling any SMS toggle and providing your phone number, you are giving your express written consent to receive the corresponding text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Clippy's Lawn.
To enroll in SMS notifications, log in to your Clippy's Lawn customer account and navigate to the Preferences page. Enter your mobile phone number in the Communication Preferences section, review the SMS consent disclosure, and enable the specific notification categories you want to receive. All SMS toggles are off by default — you must explicitly enable each one. You can disable individual notifications or all SMS at any time using the same Preferences page.

Message frequency varies based on your service schedule and the notification categories you have enabled. Messages are sent as events occur — typically one message per event (e.g., one crew en route notification per service visit). You control which categories you receive; disabling a category stops those messages immediately.
Message and data rates may apply. Clippy's Lawn does not charge any fees for SMS messages sent through our program. However, your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to all messages you send and receive. Check with your wireless provider if you are unsure about your plan's messaging charges. Clippy's Lawn is not responsible for any fees charged by your carrier.
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using any of the following methods:
Reply STOP: Text STOP to any message you receive from Clippy's Lawn. You will receive a single confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from Clippy's Lawn SMS notifications. You will no longer receive text messages. Reply START to re-subscribe or visit your account preferences." No further messages will be sent unless you opt back in.
Account preferences: Log in to your customer portal and disable individual or all SMS toggles on the Preferences page. Use the master toggle to disable all SMS notifications at once.

After opting out via any method, you will not receive any further SMS messages from Clippy's Lawn unless you re-enable notifications in your account preferences or reply START.

Our SMS program is supported on major US mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, U.S. Cellular, and Sprint. Service availability may vary by carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Clippy's Lawn does not guarantee message delivery, as delivery is subject to your carrier's network conditions and policies.
We take your privacy seriously. Your phone number and SMS consent preferences are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We will never sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for delivering the SMS notifications you have opted in to through Clippy's Lawn. We do not use your phone number for any purpose unrelated to the services described in these terms. We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of SMS notifications after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If we make changes that materially expand the types of messages we send, we will seek your consent again.
